Niacinamide - a substance full of valuable properties

Niacinamide (other names: vitamin B3, vitamin PP), also known as nicotinamide, is a component of niacin, i.e. vitamin. B3. This active substance is used in cosmetology due to its valuable properties. It is characterized by a wide spectrum of action, thanks to which it is an ingredient of products such as natural facial care cosmetics, dermocosmetics and even shampoos.

 

Niacinamide – what is this substance?

To find out what the described substance is, it is worth understanding what role vitamin B3 plays here. Niacinamide is a derivative of niacin, which means it differs from it in its chemical bond. However, in cosmetics the names are used interchangeably.

Compounds with versatile effects have been used in cosmetology for years. Such exceptional ones include, among others: described niacinamide. Its properties mean that almost every skin type can benefit from its use.

One of the substances that can be obtained from food is niacinamide. However, the effect of the compound may be less pronounced when it is delivered only in this way. Therefore, it is worth taking care of the appropriate amount of vitamins. B3 in body care and in the diet, the use of products with niacinamide keeps the skin moisturized regardless of the season.

 

Characteristic properties of niacinamide

It has long been known how many healing properties vitamin has. B3. But why is it worth using niacinamide? The use of this compound can not only slow down the skin aging process, but also inhibit the development of many diseases resistant to antibiotic therapy.

Can other substances and niacinamide be used at the same time? What not to combine this relationship with? It works well in everyday care, among others: retinol and niacinamide. Vit. B3 stimulates the action of the vitamin derivative. A - thanks to this, the effects are visible much faster. However, due to the equal pH, substances such as niacinamide and azelaic acid should not be used at the same time.

It is worth deciding to use vitamin. B3 both in the form of peels, creams and serums.
