Niacinamide (other names: vitamin B3, vitamin PP), also known as nicotinamide, is a component of niacin, i.e. vitamin. B3. This active substance is used in cosmetology due to its valuable properties. It is characterized by a wide spectrum of action, thanks to which it is an ingredient of products such as natural facial care cosmetics, dermocosmetics and even shampoos.


Niacinamide – what is this substance?

To find out what the described substance is, it is worth understanding what role vitamin B3 plays here. Niacinamide is a derivative of niacin, which means it differs from it in its chemical bond. However, in cosmetics the names are used interchangeably.

One of the substances that can be obtained from food is niacinamide. However, the effect of the compound may be less pronounced when it is delivered only in this way.
